EURO TECNO TOOL PEOPLE: a talk with Alessandra Ciastra

The real value of a company lies in its people, their skills and commitment. That’s why we decided to create a space where our employees can tell their stories and offer their point of view.

Today we interviewed Alessandra Ciastra, who is part of the Technical Department. Here is what he shared with us.

Alessandra, tell us about your experience at Euro Tecno Tool.

Alessandra arrived in 2008 for a replacement in administration, she did the accounting part. When her colleague returned, she also stayed on and took care of accounting, especially sales invoices and recording invoices. over the years, she became involved in the commercial side: following orders, production files, and so on. Then she became supporting the purchasing office for raw materials and supplies in general. Lately, she has also moved into production a bit. She gave up the invoices and administration part and moved to the purchasing office and a bit of production: I launch the orders (the order arrives and launches the various opr’s into production). that’s something she also wanted, we needed a figure who would start a bit of the commercial part but Alessandra never liked that so much because she doesn’t have the basis for languages and she likes the production part more. Here you are closer to the company’s core business. The purchasing department still takes care of MP, tools and external machining etc. Documents for suppliers, enters orders for suppliers, etc. She also does the outward shipping part. She really has seen a bit of everything. You understand what a part is for, where it goes, its history.

What makes Euro Tecno Tool the ideal partner for client companies?

Certainly professionalism is one of our strong points. We always try to please our customers in every way. It is often said that ‘the customer is always right’, but it is a philosophy that we truly follow at Euro Tecno Tool. We are willing to deal with even the most complex requests.

Where do you see Euro Tecno Tool in the near future?

I see in all of us the desire to work hard and put ourselves on the line, and this gives me very positive expectations for the future of the company. We are looking to increase production capacity by buying new machinery and also hiring new people to join our team so that we can handle the demands that come in. This is a good environment to work in because the people who come here have the opportunity to grow and learn.

We thank Alessandra for the interesting chat. Don’t miss the next episode of ETT People!
